Elijah has become a huge fan of soccer, so much so I am tempted to call it an obsession. okay, if I am honest it is definitely an obsession. He now insists upon wearing a soccer shirt most days, and some days it has to be the exact shirt you see in this picture, not just any shirt with a soccer ball on it. He must wear soccer shorts, his soccer shoes (tennis shoes we call soccer shoes because Caleb played soccer in them), and of course soccer socks, "the big ones". He wants to have his big socks pulled up all the way to look like shin guards. He loves to play soccer, wear soccer, and all he talks about is soccer. If you ask him how he got the scratches on his knees from falling and playing in the yard he ALWAYS says, "uh uh playing soccer, uh uh, kick it, uh uh uh, fall down, uh uh owie, kiss it" He is hilarious and yes, definitely OBSESSED!
Needless to say he is having a soccer birthday cake tomorrow.
