Odd Solution

Just yesterday while Elijah was eating some crackers at the table I asked him to stand up and go to the bathroom. He said, "I can't dad."
"Why not?" I asked.
"Because dad, then the crumbs will fall on the ground and then we'll have to get a mouse to clean them up... and then we'll have to get a cat to find the mouse... and then Bailey will chase the cat and then you'll have to clean up all the blood... so I can't get up."
"Ok" I said, "Go to the bathroom anyway, I'd rather clean up blood than poop."
