a trip to the zoo

Going to the zoo has not been an easy task. Although we are trying to make it there again. This trip was particularly difficult, being so closed to when my dad had his heart attack last year. We enjoyed our visit and when I went to finally get a membership they gave it to us for free! what a blessing. The man at the counter remember last years events, he was so sympathetic as I tried to calmly get a refund from that days events and purchase a new membership.
So here we are! Our friend down the street joined us for the day! Ethan and Caleb are great buddies, as well as Owen and Elijah have become quite fond of each other. Ava is also adopted from Guatemala, she just came home a few months ago and is 8 months old.


Two years ago the Sumatrin rhino had heard first baby in captivity. The boys remeber it and we always go to check and see how Suci is doing. Now Emi is a mommy again to her second rhino. The boys were so excited to see her new baby.
