Monday memo... Each Monday Aime sends us an update of our case. She writes,
As I communicated earlier Zulma wants to continue to search for the birth family for several more weeks. There are many possible reasons as to why they cannot be located presently. I mentioned before that many families have been displaced or are helping displaced extended families from the hurricane and mudslides. It is also possible that they are doing migrant work within Guatemala. If this is the case the individual working for Zulma to locate them can possibly figure out what crop they are working and track them down. Caroline does feel this will be resolved as Palmetto Hope has never had a case of losing the birth mother/family.

I continue to pray. We have all already adopted Mikaiah and believe this is the baby God has for you. (us) In His perfect time, she will come home.
