on wednesday morning we woke up to quite a mess! tuesday night i gave the kid's a bath, peter came home and helped me finish things up, and get the kids to bed. then he noticed the tub did not drain. he tried to snake it, put draino down it, the whole nine yards, he couldn't even get the snake down it!! he figured the kids must have put some toy down it or something? next morning we woke up to still a full tub of chemicals and then a leak on the kitchen floor! long story short, the tub was never unplugged, but when peter tried to drain it a already broken piece, cracked further, causing the leak. then he put in a new pipe and seal and then a new leak started where the tile and tub meet. now he had resealed the tub. we are leaving our hole until we are sure it is done leaking!
caleb came downstairs and said, "why did you put a hole in the ceiling?"
once I explained to him that their was a leak and daddy had to cut a hole is the ceiling to fix it, he went on to tell Micaiah.
"See Micaiah, this is where daddy broke the ceiling!"
the kids had a blast looking through and talking through the hole!!
