m: mommy, can you get the kitty puzzle so i can put it together and can you get the puppy puzzle so elijah can put it together cause we want to do a puzzle and i want to do the kitty puzzle and elijah wants to do the puppy puzzle....
me: you are so cute, how did you get so cute?'
m: because my daddy loves me and he calls me piggy when i toot!

e turns to m: do you want to give your balloon to papa
m: (nothing)
e: if you let your balloon go you can give it to papa
me: what do you mean?
e: if you let the balloon go it will go all the way up to heaven to papa. i bet papa has a lot of balloons.

watching our foster baby hit the keys on a baby piano for the first time and giggle with glee

getting a phone call from our oldest foster kiddo wondering when we will be home and if she can get started on dinner for us?

watching caleb laugh with complete joy just thinking about when ashlei was playing the tickle game and then trying to convince her to play again, through laughter
