We headed to the Chicago area to interview for a few job possibilities, visit with family, celebrate Caleb's birthday, and go to my best friend from middle school's wedding!! we stopped in South Bend Indiana to visit our good friends the Walatka's! We had a blast!!

Caleb and Hunter playing in the sprinkler Elijah and Ben riding bikes Micaiah and Anna, aren't they cute! Micaiah and Ben, she is trying to convince him to go further down the block than he is allowed to go!
HERE THEY ARE... the Walatka 7 ! They used to live down the street from us in Cincinnati, Caleb and the twins Tommy and Hunter are only 2 weeks apart. We have been friends since they were about 6 months old! Joseph and Ben are adopted from Ethiopia, we went through our adoptions together, although they started after us and brought their boys home before us :o) Joseph and Elijah are the same age and Ben and Anna and Micaiah are all close in age! They are all becoming great friends! Were at their home from Tuesday evening through Thursday afternoon, without a single fight or even whining about what another one was doing. WE HAD A GREAT TIME! thanks Walatka's for hosting us.
we SOLD OUR HOUSE!!!!! we close Aug. 1! it sold in less than 2 weeks, buy owner for the perfect price! yeah GOD! it's so good to be homeless while we are jobless....speaking of...we have a few opportunities in the Chicago area, we are interviewing some of them, and some of them are interviewing us this weekend!
okay so I really was going to try and keep up with my blog better, but it is really hard to find time to blog when I am trying to keep my house spotless ALL THE TIME!!! that's right, we are officially on the market! hoping for a quick sell, quick closing and off to Chicago! Peter has some great job opportunities he is looking into right now. One involves a interview at Cedar Point (the most amazing, heads above the rest, amusement part)for the weekend! It is a rough life he leads.
this is lightning mcqueen, the king, and chick racing in California for the Piston Cup (fyi: CARS, the movie) this is amazing! Caleb drew this house upside down because it had to be facing the fence! he definitely has Peter's eye for art!
her foster mom did trim her bangs in May of last year. But this was her first official all around haircut. they had this cute horse to sit on, but she ended up on my lap and did great! bbefore after, okay so you can't really tell she got her hair cut, but we just wanted to make the ends healthy! the beautician did this!
tonight we went to the local Catholic Church festival. We rode rides, played games, listened to music, danced, had dessert. It was lots of fun! enjoy the videos!
We often talk about Caleb's good friend Ethan. This is his little sister, also adopted from Guatemala! She is 8 months. Elijah and Aidan! Aidan lives right behind us, they are two of kind and great friends! Caleb and Ethan

Our first official family photo... personalities shining through!
I am a stay at home mommy with 3 little ones. Our blog started with the adoption of our youngest. Her journey home from Guatemala was the inspiration for our blog. Now I enjoy keeping a journal/online scrapbook of our adventures as a family and sharing them with those we love and don't see to often! (especially auntie amy and uncle damian in australia!) and our other fans in wisconsin, illinois, ohio and california :o)
