joey pockets and other fun stuff

I bet you are wondering what joey pockets are? any guesses? well, today we decided to make puppets for our fairy tale characters. After coming home from seeing the musical Into the Woods, we have been reading all the fairy tales. over and over and over again! so we decided to make puppets and put on a puppet show for daddy! After we completed our puppets (Caleb made little red, rupunzel, and some others, Elijah made the big bad wolf, rupunzel, and others) Caleb made a new invention, joey pockets.

He loves to do arts and crafts and he created the first ever official "joey pocket" that we know of, anyways. Elijah made one too. and then we had to figure out how to fasten them on, just like kangaroos have them attached to their bellies.

Here they are pockets made of paper, with popsicle sticks (joeys)! aren't they cute!
