50 degrees is good enough for us!
a good day...
This afternoon, when Caleb came home from school we played in the backyard. Two of my neighbor friends came over with their 4 kids and Henry and Allie were over playing. We had a great time, it was so good to be outside and in the fresh air. Still a little muddy though, the kids were making soup with mud, twigs, rocks, sugar gum seedlings (these are lovely prickly balls that drop from our neighbors tree and make a large mess in our yard), and anything else they could find. They got dirty and had a blast!
Tomorrow we will "clean" the yard. It's supposed to get up to 60! The kids gather their wheel barrow and bulldozer and collect the sugar gum seedlings and collect all the twigs and sticks and put them in a pile for a pretend fire pit. Maybe I will get pics tomorrow.
