Day # 4 wednesday

Today we had a slow morning and then headed to the beach. we stopped and had a pie (an austrailian dish similiar to a chxn pot pie on the outside and we had steak and mushrooms in ours, it is very small and meant to be eaten in your hand). very good. then we walked around glen elg and along the beach, collected seashells, put francesco's feet in the water for the first time, sat and enjoyed the beautiful beach and sunshine, walked around some more, stopped at a few shops to collect groceries and supper. we came home and made gyros, hummus and veggies. we went for a drive to the hills. adelaide is a city of about 1.1 million people on the west is the ocean and the east is the hills and then it is very long. up in the hills you can see a large portion of the city which is 66 miles long. very beautiful and we saw the sunset.
