Day # 5 thursday

today we spent the morning lolly gagging in the apartment. when i wake up amy is usually feeding francesco and then when she finishes i take over. changing his nappy, playing and talking with him and then getting him back to sleep. it has been such a blessing to get to know my nephew. he is such a precious little man. he opens his mouth all the time, just randomly, as if he is trying to have a conversation but mostly nothing comes out. i call him "pajarito" which means little bird. we walked down Jetty Road, sat by the beach for awhile and came home for dinner. It has been so nice to live life slowly and take it easy. i miss my family so very much but i am grateful for my time here too.
